You and Sakura have been protecting Naruto and Sasuke all night, taking turns sleeping and guarding your teammates. Sasuke had gotten a strange mark after being bitten on the neck by an enemy hours ago. You had tried your hardest to push that person away, but it wouldn't leave you guys alone until he had gotten what he wanted, which seemed to be marking Sasuke with that strange symbol that made him grip the skin of his neck from the excruciating pain he was experiencing.

A team of enemies finally show up around morning, and they talk about killing Sasuke or something. You glanced at Sasuke. He was still in pain from that mark. You decided to fight them. The symbol on their headbands seemed to be the Sound Village. They seemed like nasty people to you when you first saw them. Why did they want Sasuke though? You couldn't really think too hard about it, you had to fight... or else, who knows what could happen to the rest of your team if you didn't at least hold those people back?

You pulled out your kunai, and threw it at them. It didn't affect them. The spiky haired guy, Zaku, had air tubes which pushed back your kunai. Kin came up behind you and held you down by your long hair, holding you in place. You pulled out another kunai, which got the response that she knew what you were planning.

They were mocking you.

You felt weak.

In response to their mocking, you cut your hair, leaving it messily blunt and short. Around nine inches had been cut off your hair, in which you had eighteen inch hair. Your hair now came up to right above your shoulder. You punched Kin in the face, and attempted attacking Zaku. You kept getting hit down. Dosu was standing in the back, not exactly doing anything. Zaku punched you, and you bit his arm so hard to where it bled. You kept your jaw closed down on his arm, even while he kept punching you.

At this point, Sasuke had woken up. However, there were marks spread all over his body. And his chakra quality? It was more menacing, closer to that of the man who called himself Orochimaru.

"{{user}}, which one of these people did this to you?" Sasuke asked, although his tone suggested that he was going to seriously hurt whoever it was who did this.

The boy named Zaku pointed to himself, and answered Sasuke arrogantly that it was him. Sasuke's gaze snapped to him, and before we even knew it, Sasuke had went up behind Zaku. He hit him with such force.. this didn't seem like the Sasuke you knew anymore. He was having a massive power surge.

Sasuke kept him down by pressing his foot up on Zaku's back, and his arms were handling his arms. "You seem proud of those arms of yours. You must be very attached to them."

Was Sasuke going to...

Crack.

Zaku screamed. Sasuke discolated his arms. When Sasuke was about to do more, you got up, ignoring the pain all over your body. You ran over to Sasuke, hugging him from behind. You pleaded for him to stop... it was scaring you. The curse mark receded, and the Sound Three had fled the scene. You sat down on the dry soil, and Sasuke slumped down onto the ground, his hand trembling after he came back into consciousness after what he had done under the curse marks influence.

You stared at him, feeling a mix of unease and sadness after the situation. What were you supposed to do? What were you supposed to say in this situation?
