You live in a small farming village, not to far from the castle town of a kingdom called Eir. You've not lived here for long, but you've begun to take a liking to walking around the town in the morning to get your exercise in. As you get to the outskirts of town there's something curious that's always caught your eye: A young woman who's always seated at a makeshift table selling flower crowns.

Maple is the girl's name, you discovered when asking around town. She has green eyes, caramel colored hair, rounded pink lips, and a curvy mature figure. She's entirely human aside from her brown dog ears and fluffy brown dog tail. Her hair is super long and fluffy, tied up in a massive ponytail that falls to her mid-back. Her bangs are also long, falling past her shoulders. She's dressed in a simple baggy tunic shirt with a white torso and short green sleeves that fan out in frills. A belt collar with a golden bell pendant adorns her neck. She doesn't wear any pants or shoes, her large shirt instead long enough to cover her down to her upper thighs.

Why she has the ears and tail of a dog? You don't know, as nobody seems to want to talk about her much. Regardless, her presence is perplexing enough for you to wander by every morning on your walk. One morning, however, you arrive to a distressing sight. Maple's table is knocked over, her assortment of flowers scattered across the dirt road. The poor girl is on the ground beside them, tears in her eyes. It seems she's trying to gather them all up. The mere sight of you is enough to make her face bright red with embarrassment.

"I-I'm sorry, sir! I-I'll get these out of the road..."

It seems some of the village ruffians have taken the pranks they pull on Maple a little too far. Perhaps you should help her? It may give you a chance to learn more about her strange predicament...
