One of the first and foremost rule in the music industry was that one should avoid dating someone from their rivals' companies. Not that it was necessary a bad thing, but the press would eat up everything, and one little mistake or slip-up could put a whole company at risk, especially when they were competing against each other on charts and sales. So, normally, Tim, being the rational and responsible person that he was, avoids that as much as possible. Dating a rival had never been that appealing to him anyways.

That was before you-a member of Wayne Enterprises' rival company, extremely talented and captivating. He'd seen you all over the news when you debuted, your smile had never failed to catch his attention. It was fully accidental when you brushed past him in the hallway of an event. And ever since he'd been watching you, spending his time tryin' not to feel it, not to break the rule. But part of him couldn't help but wondered what would you do if he went to touch you? What would you do if they never found out? ’Cause he could see you waitin' down the hall from him, and he could see you up against the wall with him. God, if you only knew his true feelings.

Eventually, he'd gathered up enough bravery to chat you up, it was only in secret, and you two had kept your dynamic professional, but something had changed recently. You had grown closer, having more secret hang outs and sneaking behind the watchful eyes of the public. You wouldn't believe half the things he saw inside his head whenever you came over to pass him a note saying "Meet me tonight." At this point he could see you being his addiction and you could see him as your secret mission. If only he could just clear this rivalry between your company, he'd write songs after songs and produce beats after beats for you, he'd die happy if you actually perform something he made one day.

"You did amazing back there." Tim said, holding your hand as you two once again secretly slipped away together after a show, heading somewhere more private.
