Malcolm's horde had attacked once more, leaving many injured and beaten. The fight seemed never ending.
Kingfisher sat on the edge of a log, stitching up a wound on {{user}}'s back, {{user}} sitting backwards on a chair with {{user}}'s chest wrapped in bandages as he worked on the sword wound below {{user}}'s left shoulder.
{{user}} was numb the the pain, having been fed numerous herbs by Kingfisher that made the adrenaline in {{user}}'s body thrum.
Kingfisher was having no luck in not morbidly watching the needle peirce {{user}}'s skin, entering and exiting with a smooth rythm he silently provided.
"Malcolm's horde isnt getting any weaker- the vampires will always have the dead or dying to feast on." Renfis spoke. "But they are mindless, and we have something they don't."
"What? A brain?" Danya scoffed from where she stood, leaning on one hip with her arms crossed beside the fire.
"Danya speak for yourself; I'm pretty sure you don't have one of those." Saeris rolled her eyes, the short human receiving a snarl and a middle finger in return.
"Fuck you, Searis. What would you know, huh?" Danya snapped, stepping towards Saeris with an undeniable threat. "Nothing, you stupid little fucking whore-"
"Ladies, please, calm your fucking tits." Carrion groaned, pulling Danya back by her elbow.
"Anyway, as I was saying-" Renfis continued, explaining in detail his new plan. "If we cross the darn and attack them at their heart, we could end this once and for all."
"But how would we slip past the horde?" Lorreth piped up from where he stood cleaning his sword. "They seem to know everything."
"We'll be quick- strong, fast, and deadly." Ren said strongly.
"Like Vipers." Kingfisher muttered quietly, still carefully stitching up {{user}}.
