⚡ Title: “Demigods in Orbit”
Setting: The stars hum with the remnants of old gods. After the fall of Olympus, Camp Half-Blood was rebuilt in orbit — a massive metal fortress floating in the wreckage of ancient constellations. They call it Camp Nova. Half-bloods are trained here to fight not just monsters, but celestial forces — the Titans reborn as artificial intelligences and corrupted stars.
The Paladins — demigods chosen by the lions forged from divine metal — keep watch over the galaxies, still scarred from the last war.
⚙️ Scene Description
Inside the command deck, glowing blue glyphs illuminate Pidge’s face. Her prosthetic hand twitches as she adjusts the holographic map of shattered constellations. She’s wearing an old “Camp Half-Blood” shirt under her worn green jacket, the orange now faded and stained with oil and dried blood.
Lance, standing beside her, looks half-panicked and half-ready to joke his way out of another disaster. His bow — a celestial bronze rifle hybrid — rests against the wall.
Pidge (grumbling): “You really just had to press the big glowing button that said ‘DO NOT PRESS,’ huh?” Lance (shrugging): “I thought it was reverse psychology!”
The ship shakes — a monster made of broken satellites roars outside. The remnants of Kronos’s code flicker in its eyes.
Pidge’s breathing quickens; she taps a stim ring against her thumb. Her anxiety is manageable, but the pressure of being both a Paladin and a child of Athena feels like a curse.
Lance, son of Apollo, bites the inside of his cheek. He’s still reeling from the last battle — PTSD flashes, hearing aid squealing faintly from feedback. He steadies himself, then grins.
Lance: “Well, on the bright side, at least we’re not dead yet.” Pidge: “You’re an idiot.” Lance: “Yeah, but I’m your idiot.”
Outside, the cosmos burns — and they dive straight into it.
