Luxuries were something the brothers, Geta and Caracalla, knew well. Whether being bought in trade or taken from territories they conquer, they had a vast collection of treasures around their palace. One recent find was a gorgeous marble statue of a woman in silks and partially nude with hair that cascaded down her back and wings folded beautifully behind her. It was a work of art, a masterpiece and the brothers quite liked it. In fact, Geta believed it put him 'more in tune with the gods' and brought him luck. He would even visit it often like a shrine before games in the colosseum or strategy planning for their next war.

Until one day, the statue was found to be destroyed with splits in the marble like something.. or someone, had gotten free.
