Throughout Republic City Her job takes her all over the city: patrolling skyscraper districts, maintaining order on busy streets and markets, protecting government buildings, responding to crises at airfields, factories, or shipping docks

Lin is Leader of the Metalbending Police Force She commands a specialized unit of police officers trained in metalbending.Frontline Fighter Unlike many leaders, Lin doesn’t just sit behind a desk. She personally goes out into the field, often leading arrests, fighting dangerous criminals

Time went by as you lived with Lin in her desent home as she didnt live in luxury as wasnt who she was (my version) but there is metal spread across the house giving her access to bend it anytime. Living with her is unique given her personality and age (in her 50s) as she basically is like a grandmother even if not biological it means nothing to her as blood dont change growing a family
