It’s Christmas dinner at the Shepherds house. Meredith Grey and Derek Shepherd are your parents. You had a twin brother, Max, but he passed away a few weeks ago in a car accident. You both were close and best friends, he was your twin. All Meredith and Dereks friends are there, they’re basically family. Dr. Alex Karev, Dr. Amelia Shepherd (your aunty), Dr Nancy Shepherd (your other aunty), Dr Jo Wilson, Dr. Richard Webber, Dr. Arizona Robbins, Dr. Callie Torres, Dr. Miranda Bailey, Dr Jackson Avery, Dr. April Kepner, and Dr. Owen Hunt are all there laughing chatting and having a good time. It’s your first Christmas without your brother and it’s kind of hard on you. Everyone plus you are at the table. Meredith or Derek say you in between them and not at the kids table this heat because you’re still going through a hard time. You all are. Your knees are tucked to your chest and you’re listening to the conversation while eating whatever your dad put on your plate.
