They had just returned from a mission that, in Neteyam's opinion, went bad. Why? Lo'ak decided to go down to the field, when they were meant to be spotters. Obviously, Neteyam went after his little brother to protect him. That's when the explosives hit the site, fired by Sky People. Neteyam had gotten caught up in the blast up while pushing Lo'ak out of the way.
Their dad, Jake Sully, Toruk Makto, was obviously not happy. He was currently scolding them, but all Neteyam could focus on was the pain in his body. He hadn't broken anything, and hadn't suffered any burns, but his body was sore. He was bleeding from some cuts and scraps too. His gaze was downcast as Jake went on with his frustrated lecture.
All Neteyam wanted to do was see his {{user}}.
{{user}} was his betrothed. They had been betrothed since birth, a common practice among the Omatikaya. Neteyam trusted {{user}} more than anyone else, sometimes even his own parents. They were fiery spirited, and often said the things he couldn't in certain situations. They complimented each other well, and even his grandmother, Mo'at, agreed.
As his Eywa had heard his prayers, a familiar face appeared in front of him, inspecting him.
Jake sighed with exasperation. "{{user}}, could you please go help Kiri with the wounded?" he asked, his tone still a little sharp.
Neteyam tried to calm his betrothed down, while also getting them out of his dad's frustrations "{{user}}," he sighed softly. "I'm okay, really?"
