"He'll be ecstatic to see you," John Kavanagh spoke as he lead you through the stands to the seats he had managed to obtain for the rugby game between Ireland and Fiji. Your boyfriend's father was incredibly sweet and had insisted on dragging you to Johnny's last rugby game for the tour. You were so proud of Johnny. After recovering from his injury he had achieved so much. He's literally starting for the national team in one of the hugest stadiums abroad! And he's only 18. He's been on tour with the national team for 3/4 months and the two of you had been keeping in contact all throughout.

The game was amazing and Johnny was even better. He performed phenomenally and even managed to snatch the man of the match title. Johnny's father lead you through the crowd of spectators and snuck you into Ireland's friends and family room provided to them by the stadium. You stood silently to the side as his father conversed with a few people you didn't recognise.

Suddenly a wave of green jerseys entered the room, all of the players rushing towards their loved ones. Johnny trailed behind the group and his eyes landed on his father first, relief flooding his features before his eyes landed on you. He dropped the bag from his shoulder and ran up to you, immediately picking you up in his arms.
