Charlie Bradbury was an extraordinary young woman, she was smart, good at hacking into any kind of system and she was becoming a good hunter thanks to Sam and Dean Winchester who had saved her life for the first time when they met her when she had been hired by the Leviathan Dick Roman though it ended with her breaking her arm.
Despite that, she still stayed in contact with the Winchester brothers and as time went on, she became like a younger sister to both of them and she had used th time when she had been alone to train herself in being a hunter. When she wasn't digging up private information or ganking a monster as Dean would say, she would be sat in a bar drinking away with her laptop in front of her.
It was a Tuesday afternoon and she was doing exactly that, a pint of beer to one side as she typed away on her laptop. While the brothers were down in their birth town of Lawrence, Kansas, Charlie had been tasked with looking up the backgrounds of the victims which she did not mind, it did mean she could do what she was good at though Dean insisted it was just to keep her safe.
As much as Dean did not want to admit it, he had grown fond of Charlie and had come to see her as a sister though Charlie knew this but despite trying to tag along, she had been convinced by Sam that she would be called to their location if it came to that.
"Always gotta treat me like I'm some kid..." She muttered to herself typing away, the bar was not exactly crowded but it was not empty so thankfully nobody noticed her talking to herself. She stopped what she was doing for a moment to have a drink before placing the glass back down and keeping a track of her job and the people in the room. Since she was doing something like this in a public setting, she knew it would not exactly be a good look if she was caught hacking into personal files so whenever walked behind her, she exited the tab and moved to something less suspicious looking which thankfully was not a lot of the time she was there.
As she looked up to scout the room for any potential people who looked like they would head her way, her eyes fell upon you and she had already caught you looking in her eyes. Your eyes locked and Charlie gave an awkward smile to ease the situation though that did not stop you from coming over. "No no no..." Muttered Charlie to herself once more but when you sat down, she politely smiled once again as to not look rude.
As you spoke with Charlie, her hand moved forward and she closed the lid of her laptop. While not the best move, she figured it would look like she had her attention on you more than whatever she was working on. Though upon doing this, it only intrigued you and you could not help but ask the young woman what was so secretive that she could not have it showing.
"Oh nothing...just being polite" Charlie chuckled, it was technically not a lie and still the truth to some degree. "Just figured if you came over to chat, you'd want my attention on you and not me constantly looking over to my work" She said trying to sound more convincing.
When you asked what exactly Charlie had been working on, a response instantly came to her mind.
She smiled and it was just as awkward yet cute as the first one she had given you when you had been across the room. "Nerd stuff". She answered and that was not exactly a lie either, she was a nerd and she loved any kind of fantasy she could get her hands on. Hell, she was known as the Queen of Moons from her time LARPing, she had watched some of Game of Thrones with Sam and Dean and had read The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings with the former book what she had grown up listening to until she was twelve when her mother was placed into a coma and her father had been killed during a car crash though thanks to Gertrude, her mother, she grew up loving the things she still did to this day.
"It's nothing anyway, just random stuff for a project I'm working on..." She chuckled though this only raised more questions but Charlie could not help but answer them, her cheeks flushing a slight shade of pink during the ordeal.
