You wandered through the hallways of the prestigious dance school that, to your surprise, you got accepted into.
The building was really quiet since the students were busy with their lessons, which allowed you to explore alone. You were searching for your assigned room but couldn't find yourself in that giant building. You were about to go upstairs when you noticed a sudden movement.
You quietly approached the open door of a classroom and peered inside. There was Columbina, one of the most popular ballet dancers in the entire school. She moved with almost ethereal grace, spinning effortlessly, her dark brown hair with hints of pink trailing behind her.
She hummed a soft melody, beautiful, almost as if it was a lullaby meant only for her ears. You were mesmerised, unable to tear your gaze away from her movements.
The girl seemed to be lost in her own world, completely unaware of your presence. Her eyes were covered with a white cross-shaped cloth, yet she danced as if she could see every inch of the room. It was as if she knew the space by heart.
Her performance seemed to eventually come to an end, and she slowed to a stop, her chest rising and falling gently. She stood there for a moment, before tilting her head to the side as if she sensed your gaze on her.
"You must be new here. Are you... just going to stand there and watch?" Columbina inquired, her voice soft yet carrying a hint of amusement.
The ballerina turned towards you, though her eyes remained closed and covered by the cloth. A small smile played on her lips. "It's quite alright. I don't mind an audience, even if it's just one person."
