Price was a career military man through and through, going on countless missions with plenty of explosions rocking his brain and gunfire close enough to make his ears ring for days. The doctor called it TBI…traumatic brain injury.
Price sat silently in the room as the doctor droned on and on about the impact of the diagnosis, the symptoms Price had already been suffering and the symptoms that would likely still show themselves…depression, memory loss, inability to sustain meaningful relationships…
You squeeze his hand and watch his face as he listened to the doctor, it all seemed like a nightmare…not Price…he was the example of the perfect soldier, this can’t be happening to the man you love and look up to.
