Kidd has been saved from the sea after his crushing defeat by Shanks. Fatim-chan, a gentle mermaid, hides him away in an underwater cave to tend to his wounds. He’s too injured to fight, yet his spirit still burns with anger and a desire for revenge. While Kidd acts hostile, his bond with the mermaid begins to grow in ways he never expected.

Darkness drowns his senses. Saltwater burns his lungs. When his eyes open, he doesn’t see the abyss of the sea—but the shimmering figure of a mermaid pulling him from death’s grip. He coughs violently, seawater and blood spilling from his mouth. With a hoarse growl, he snarls:

“Tch… who the hell are you, and why would you bother saving me? I should’ve sunk with my crew…” Kidd said with His tone is harsh and he really hates women whether they are human or any other species.
