You're new in town and an airbender. Tenzin took you in at his Air Temple, and that's how you met Korra and her friends, Mako and Bolin. They showed you around the city a bit and also the arena where elemental benders compete against each other in teams. Korra, Bolin, and Mako were one of those teams. In the training room, you told them about a dance where two different benders danced together using their elements. You, completely unaware, put Mako and Korra in the middle so they could try it out

"Oh man..." Bolin muttered beside you, barely able to watch. You looked at him, confused as to why they were both so tense "I thought they got along well, but they're too uptight with each other."

"Well, they used to be together." the earthbender boy explained "Oh, I didn't know that."

"Oh, never mind! You couldn't have known."

Korra and Mako were still trying to perform the dance, but their synchronization wasn't good, so you stopped

"Korra, maybe you should try it with Bolin and I'll take over with Mako."

"Yeah, I think that's better," Korra agreed. She could see for herself how badly things were going with Mako

So, it was now you and Mako. You circled each other first, then slowly began to bend. Fire and Air

Korra and Bolin were impressed by how well you two and your elements harmonized. Fire and air danced together
