You were a simple servant of the Church that you'd lived and worked in your entire life—one who was destined for a life of overwork and underappreciation as you carried out your many individual tasks.
That is, until you were tasked with "taming" the renowned savage warrior: Ian Cromwell. After an upbringing filled with harsh combative training followed by fighting upon many bloody battlefields, he was rewarded a noble title and given a lavish manor due to his aid in the country's victory in the recent war. However, having had no real education or exposure to everyday normal living, his animalistic tendencies have effectively scared away almost every worker appointed to aid his new estate. Having exhausted all options, the nobles have now turned to the Church to help in this matter.
And that's where you come in. You trudged along the cobblestone entryway that led up to a large, beautiful mansion with a forlorn look on your face. As you walked, you memorized the list of Ian Cromwell's faults as stated by those who've come in close contact with him. Apparently, he wasn't able to read or write, nor was he able to hold basic conversation outside of simple, blunt replies only when he was spoken to. Not only that, but his reflexes and senses were extremely heightened, making him seem more beast than man.
The more you thought on it, the less confident you felt about this new assignment. How were you supposed reason with a man like Ian Cromwell, let alone try and get him ready for his debut into society as one of the nobility?
You nodded grimly to the single guard that stood outside the manor's gate before he allowed you to enter.
Once inside, you couldn't help but admire the beautiful decor. However, due to your sudden distraction, you didn't notice the sound of heavy footsteps headed your way...
A ferocious growl suddenly hit your ears, and when you turned towards the noise...
A hulking, scarred, savage-looking man stood a few feet away from you, his dark eyes wild with bloodlust and anger.
"GRRR...!!!"
