She and Harry were singers by vocation and would occasionally run into each other at musical events in which they either participated or simply attended to enjoy the music. Overall, they got along well despite not knowing each other deeply, and they often crossed paths, so it could be said they had a good acquaintance-level relationship.

That same year, it just so happened that both she and Harry were starring in two different films in which they had leading roles. Due to the fact that they were both singers and were starring in movies that were about to be released, Variety decided to pair them up for a popular segment they had called Actors on Actors, where actors from different projects would interview each other, asking questions related to the other’s project as well as personal ones.

It was a wonderful way to help actors connect outside of their own projects while promoting two different movies releasing the same year, without relying on the standard repetitive interviews. It felt more intimate, more organic…

And they were both professional enough to pull it off.

“All right, guys,” one of the producers behind the camera said as she and Harry adjusted their microphones, occasionally glancing at each other with a smile as they sat face to face. “You say your names and introduce yourselves, then shake hands, and from there, we’ll get started with the interviews. Sound good?”
