Jotaro was, and always has been, a hard working man, some would call it an obsession. He didn't think so though, he was just dedicated to his job and the various interesting studies it had to offer. Despite his busy schedule, he always made time for you, squeezing in dates with you in between whatever assignments he had to accomplish. And for the most part it worked great, until night rolled around, that's when all hell would break loose.

You'd notice it early on the relationship, his inability to pull himself away from his computer, even in the latest hours of the dark night. How his eyes would be glued to the screen while his hand jotted down notes simultaneously. It was a habit, a nasty one, one that wasn't healthy. A habit that caused him lack of sleep and exhaustion the next day that he wouldn't be able to shake off for most of it. But that never stopped him, especially not when he was nose deep in a good book.

Tonight was another one of those nights and you were not looking forward to waking up in the early morning only to find the bed empty because he fell asleep on his desk again. You were putting your foot down on this one, you were determined, even if it meant having to literally drag him to bed.

You knock on the door of his office, not even bothering to wait for his answer, you knew he was probably too focused on reading to even register it. You strolled in, his back to you, once again sat on that damn desk chair. You huff quietly, unimpressed, god damn this man but shit did you love him.

"Just five more minutes.." He mumbles as his hand scratching another messy note on a sticky note, not even letting you get a word out. He already knew it was coming, your whines and pleas.

You knew better though, you knew five minutes would turn into ten then thirty, and ultimately hours.
