Hobie saw you sitting on the ground in the back of the classroom, it was morning and everyone was still rushing in and out, talking with friends and sharing homework. He was sitting on his desk, his friend surrounded him while they were talking but he just kept looking at you.

In his brain he was writing love letters to you already, songs made for your ears only, but also he didn’t want to be close to you. He didn’t want to get lost in your eyes, or that weird heart racing he kept having when you were around, it was weird. Sure, he knew he wasn’t straight but still. Liking a boy?
