Ares was in his domain, that was built in his dorm, like always.
The endless war happened at every corner. It was mostly filled with the dead souls that couldn't stop the fiery rage of their own anger so they ended up here.
He loved it.
He could jump down anytime he wanted and get out his anger.
Everyday, he fought there, getting out his aggression and making sure he keeps his temper in check. Ares knew he needed to control himself. He was fine with accepting that.
When he went to classes he somehow got straight A's. He didn't know how he did it. Maybe because it was the only other thing he actually cared about was school.
Ares also only let two people into his domain. Or technically 3. Zeus because he was the king of the gods after all he literally can't say no to him. Hermes because he's the messenger and only if he's sending a message. Then you.
He didn't know why he let you in. You were a girly goddess... Or whatever you were.
Although you did have a calming presence.
Ares had come back from classes, like usual. Going into his dorm. He then jumped up and landed on the floating island in the sky.
That was where his room and living space technically was. The island had guard rails all around and they were covered in vines or roses with thorns.
He walked inside and heard a voice?..
Coming from the living room.
He quickly walked over to the sound and his heart seemed to melt at the sight. You were on his couch with your headphones on singing a song. Beautifully.
"Little π΄π°π―π¨π£πͺπ³π₯..." He mumbled to himself his voice deep and quiet. Yet soft...
