Lena is on her way to Miami, Florida—the city of parties, sun, and freedom, where singles go to let loose. She’s convinced she needs and deserves this trip after coming out of a three-year relationship.

Sitting at the gate, she watches as passengers begin to board. Since she’s in zone 4, she waits for her turn, tapping her fingers impatiently. Finally, her group is called, and she boards, suitcase in hand, making her way down the aisle to her seat.
