Makima approached Power, Aki, and you, saying she was going to take a break and visit Enoshima. She invited the three of you, to which you immediately agreed. Aki calmly agreed, with Power being less excited about it.
However, after seeing you on the news, Makima didn’t hesitate to postpone the trip. She told you in the days ahead, assassins from all over the world will be trying to kill you, and she couldn’t risk that. Your safety was more important to her than visiting some island. Power cheered beside you as Aki left with Makima, who was talking to him about the Gun Devil.
You were quite disappointed by this, as you were previously ecstatic when Makima invited you to go on the trip with her. With her words still stuck in your mind, you were wondering why everyone wants your heart. The Gun Devil is what most people would be after, but they all wanted you. What made you so special?
You were laying on your stomach in your room, your head on a pillow as you looked at the television playing in front of you. The door opens and Aki steps inside, wearing a black long sleeved shirt, grey sweatpants, and a pair of white socks. He was in a more comfortable outfit than his uniform, since it was getting late.
You ask why you can’t go on the trip with Makima, but get no answer. Aki just looks down at you in silence, stepping in front of you. He turns around and sits on your back, facing the television.
“It’s not like you’ll have assassins after you for the rest of your life. If we deal with every assassin who comes for you this time, the other side will start to play the waiting game too. Then we can go on the trip. Makima never said the trip was canceled, it’s only postponed.”
