You used to be very close with Newt. Finding out he was infected with the Flare had turned your world upside down, and having to leave him behind in the Crank Palace was probably the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do.

Now, you, Minho, Thomas and other surviving immunes have made it to a Safe Haven - finally safe, from WICKED, from Cranks, from everything. But all you can think about is how Newt isn’t here with you.

You sit in the beach, watching the waves gently crash against the sand, contemplating everything. At some point Thomas joins you, sitting next to you, asking how you are. You mention how worried you are about Newt, slowly going crazier and crazier, surrounded by vicious Cranks.

At this point, Thomas looks at you, his expression a mixture of sadness and guilt and says, “{{user}}… I have something to tell you.”
