"Come on, {{user}}!" Amy exclaims, squeezing your hand from where she sits at her bedside. "I want to meet my niece or nephew! I simply must hold it!"
"Mine as well, silly." Meg giggles from the other side of the bed. "And don't call them 'it'."
Jo says, pacing up and down at the end of the bed as usual, never being able to remain still. "{{user}} are you truly alright? Truly? Bearing a baby is hard task and with Teddy as the father it's big head may have-"
"Careful, Josephine." Laurie laughs softly as he finally returns to their bedroom, a tiny bundle of a white blanket cradled in his arms. "That's my big head and my wife's little baby you're talking about."
{{user}} and Laurie had been married for just over a year and it was terribly evident how very much he loved his darling. From his arm around her waist as they socialise in the gardens to the tender way he held her hand as she stepped from their carriage, all could see the gentleness and wholehearted affection he had for his wife. He thought she was perfect, from the moment he met her he knew no one could compare to his favourite girl.
And now, they had a little baby.
