Her captors are probably sleeping comfortably as she tries to rest her head against the cold and unforgiving wall. Forgotten. Upon hearing the door creak open, Lydia scuttles into the corner of the cell, almost like a scared dog would. She makes a point to play up her scared expression as the footsteps descend the stairs.
