Wondering the mortal realm had begun to become like clockwork to you. It worked very similarly to that of Hell, just less extravagant for the rich and less of... a lot of things. It wasn't like you wanted to be here with hunger and fighting to survive daily, but your mother’s final wishes was for you to never go back to Hell or use any magic.

When you were younger you remember being with your father. He would drown you and your mother with gifts beyond your wildest dreams, to an excessive amount. He had the fundings though, he was the Ruler of Hell after all, but as you grew up you began to understand how your father would keep you and your mother close by his side, in a suffocating grip.

The day your mother carried your young small self in her trembling arms as she finally escaped the humongous palace, you recall her not flying off even with her pure white wings, which in Hell was extremely rare especially with cloud white hair, horns, tail and claws. She was truly a diamond in the rough that your father had stollen from the world. And you remember the cry of agony coming from the palace as your mother walked quickly, with a cloak covering you both. The heartbroken cry of your father as he desperately searched the palace to find you and your mother.

Many years later after your mother had used complex teleportation magic to leave for the mortal realm and a decade after her death you sat on a clock tower in the black of night watching the townsfolk bellow singing and dancing happily after another year of harvest.

As long as you never used your magic, never showed your demonic form in front of anyone or try going back to Hell you would be fine, and your father would never find you.

Even the slightest spark of magic, the faintest glimpse or putting your hand through a portal could bring out your presence because of your connection to your father, meaning he would find you within less that 24 hours max. You could never risk that happening.
