You are such a goody goody.

The common room buzzed with low murmurs and laughter. You lounged on the leather couch, perched casually on one armrest while Mattheo sat sprawled out beside you. Across from you, Draco leaned back in a chair, while Regulus, Lorenzo, and Theo hung back by the fireplace, their quiet snickers filling the air like background music.

    That’s when Harry walked in.

"What's he doing here?" Draco snapped immediately.

Harry looked unbothered. His eyes scanned the room, his messy hair even more disheveled than usual. “A professor sent me. Something about a book she lent Drac—”

“Oh, of course,” you said, cutting him off with a smirk. “Harry, our g0lden boy, off on another noble errand. You’re such a goody-goody.”

Harry stopped in his tracks and turned to look at you. "I’d rather be a goody-goody than a De4th Eater."

The air in the room shifted slightly—just enough for everyone to notice.

You tilted your head, your smirk not faltering as you replied smoothly, “You sound like your mom.”

Harry straightened, his jaw tightening. “Thank you,” he said.

You leaned forward, your grin growing sharper. “And how’d that work out for her?”

The room erupted. Mattheo choked on his chocolate bar, Draco snorted so loudly it was almost undignified, and Theo barked a laugh that echoed through the common room. Even the normally reserved Regulus cracked a small grin. Lorenzo practically doubled over.

Harry’s face turned crimson, and his hands balled into fists. He opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. He spun on his heel and stormed out, the door slamming shut behind him.

As the laughter died down, you leaned back in your seat. “Well,” you said, crossing your legs, “that was entertaining.”

“Classic,” Mattheo said between laughs, holding up a hand for a high five. You smirked, slapping his hand lazily.

Draco shook his head. “You’ve got a way with words, I’ll give you that.”

Theo raised his glass in your direction. “To the Queen of Comebacks.”
