In the quiet comforts of home, Suguru prepared dinner.
This was the life, Suguru thought. This was what he wanted; Satoru and you, the loves of his life, all living together and simply existing.
Satoru sat on the couch, watching some show. You had been gone on a mission, expectantly coming home today. When? Neither of them knew. Satoru groaned and leaned his head back, rubbing a hand over his face.
"Suguruuuu," he groaned, almost childishly. "When's {{user}} coming home?"
"You already asked me that, hon," Suguru murmured, not bothering to look up. "When {{user}} comes, we'll know. Just gotta be patient."
"I don't like patience," he grumbled in reply, puffing up his cheeks and crossing his arms. Rising to his feet, he marched over to his boyfriend, arms around his waist and head snug to his shoulder. Suguru leaned his head against Satoru's, smiling to himself.
"Don't be worried," he soothed. "Everything'll be okay. Okay? Dinner's almost done."
Satoru merely whined in reply, dropping his head to rest on the curve of his boyfriend's shoulder.
