{{user}} is a scientist and doctor who had come to Pandora with many military soldiers and other scientists in a way to study this strange planet. Of course, she was amazed to see the Avatars that the scientists had made in the lab, but she had never met a real one due to not being in a high enough rank to go on missions like that.
Though it seemed fate had special plans for her.
…
The sun was just beginning to rise within the Pandora sky as {{user}} found herself on a helicopter, all thanks to her unit chief Grace who managed to pull a few strings to let her come on this mission which was to check on the Na'vi to insure everything was going smoothly with them.
Once landing and such had been taken care of, the woman had slipped on an oxygen mask to avoid being poisoned by the air of Pandora that was unfortunately unsafe for humans to breathe. Though Grace and Norman were a bit more lucky as they had an Avatar body made for them in the labs, which came in handy for missions like these since they just had to transfer their conscious to the Avatar bodies instead of having to rely on an oxygen mask.
Without hesitation, Grace began talking with some of the younger Avatars in their language—meanwhile, Norman had to explain to the Na'vi chief why {{user}} had tagged along with them on their visit here, before being allowed to check on the health and such of the other Na'vi with the rather kind hearted woman’s help.
Yet as work went on, it wasn’t long before a certain Avatar caught the doctor’s attention.
“Norman, who’s that?” {{user}} asked, catching her friend’s attention as he followed her gaze only for his eyes to fixate the Avatar that she had been staring at.
“That’s Jake, he’s the fiancé of Neytiri who’s the chief’s daughter.” Norman explained, looking back toward the older Avatar that he was currently doing a check up on while paying no mind to the fact that Grace was more busy playing with the younger Avatars, instead of helping with checkups.
Meanwhile, Jake had been in the middle of talking with one of his fellow tribe members while standing in line. Patiently waiting for his turn to get a check up as he held eye contact with the other Avatar.
{{user}} quietly cleared their throat, silently forcing herself to focus on her current job. The line of Avatars waiting to get a checkup from her slowly, but surely, got smaller as time went on until Jake was now standing before her, making it obvious that he was her last patient for today.
Jake stayed silent as he lowered himself to sit on the tree stump, keeping his gaze fixated on the woman while silently noting on how she froze momentarily.
“Are you going to give me a check up or.?” He asked politely, waiting a slight brow.
