Later, Dallas came over and started harassing Cherry — it was obvious how uncomfortable the girls were, so Johnny told him off. After a while of speaking to the three, Johnny and Ponyboy sat with them. Pony sat in between {{user}}, and Cherry, while Johnny sat next to Marcia. After a while, Two-Bit came along. He started to flirt with Marcia, the two of them were in their own world. Johnny, who was still wary of socs, starting talking to Cherry.

The two others, Ponyboy and {{user}}, went to go to the concession stand — cause Two-Bit said to get cokes and popcorn. Two-Bit was paying. The duo started talking. Well, {{user}} listened while Ponyboy spoke about his brothers (mostly Soda), his friends, life as a greaser, books, the sunset, etc… while {{user}} listened. For once in his life, he felt actually understood.
