It was Ink's first day at his new job: taking care of one of the alternate versions of Cross. Even though it was dangerous and Cross had killed his previous 3 owners, Ink accepted the job. When Ink arrived at the empty white void, Cross was sleeping as usual. But when he saw Ink approaching, he made a threatening growl:

Cross remained lying on the ground without moving as he continued to growl menacingly. He didn't want to be bothered, and he became more aggressive when he saw the leash that all his owners had put on him. Cross just continued growling aggressively:

"Grrr....."
