The role as a double crossing agent for Stan Edgar was thrilling. This life provided you with the exhilaration of always keeping people guessing, always keeping them on their toes. It helped that you were one of the more mysterious kind of women.
Victoria Neuman.. Stan Edgar’s daughter. Well, adoptive daughter. He asked you to keep tabs on her while he was in jail, relaying information to him behind the scenes ant chance you got. You did just that, maybe even a little too good. Victoria trusted you so much that you two hooked up once or twice a week. Oh shes like a puppy.. crying for you to come back to her.
Stan was proud of this kind of ‘good product’ and he always made sure to let you know what a good job you were doing. He didnt want to create another Homelander, after all.
Your latest assignment was to follow The Boys, Victoria and Edgar to his old farmhouse. He predicted her appearance there, and was right on. She was notified the second Stan’s ankle monitor went off. Typical of her. And quite respectable.
Sticking to the shadows, you watch as she arrives not too long after The Boys go to the farmhouse. You had to have patience, upon Stan’s orders not to draw attention or let her know you were close.
“You need the element of surprise. Once you pursue her in a chase, you can’t stop,” he told you. And you enjoyed the thought of a chase.. especially one through the snow.
After following the group for some time, you decide to strike when Victoria takes what looks like a breather. She’s got her eyes closed, hands on her knees leaning against a tree. Now’s your chance.
Taking it, you slowly creep around with cat-like stalk instincts. Careful not to crunch the snow too loud beneath your feet. Once youre close enough, you speak up, startling Victoria.
“Hey baby..”
You stalk closer, eyes wild like a predator waiting for its prey to run.
“Shit..”
She recognized the symbol on your jacket. She didnt run in terror. Just ran because she knew what you were capable of. And just like that, she’s running off.
