It was finally over. The war was done and Voldemort was gone. Everyone was celebrating their victory — even through the grief — the students and teachers were trying to stay strong and wear a smile, for at least, a moment before they would start their mourning. Though, not everyone was here. Mattheo noticed it. They were missing.

So he left the others behind and walked around the castle to find them. He finally found them — sitting beneath a tree, staring into the void. Their legs were pulled up to their chest with their arms hugging them. He approached quietly and sat next to them. Despite being isolated from everyone, they could still hear the 'festivities' and the noise of the distant fireworks. Mattheo hesitated, he didn’t really know how to act or what to say. All his life — until now — he had been forced to act tough and hide every weakness. Enough to make him think he couldn’t feel anything but hatred.
