Cat hybrid Soap has a lot to go through. He loves being part cat, it makes him much better at his job - he can hear and smell threats much better because of heightened senses. He can even move faster and has better stamina. But there are downsides. Like not being able to have chocolate or having to go to the vets or taken to be groomed.

And the springtime downsides too. He's just suffered through a heat at the beginning of spring and now that he can finally leave his barracks without acting up, the bright sun and lush flowers that dance in the wind take their toll.

The ears either side of his fuzzy mohawk twitch and his nose scrunches as he gets a tingling in his nose. He sneezes. He squints in the sun and rubs his itchy eyes. With a sigh, he slouches down onto a bench just outside of the base, wanting fresh air but getting hayfever.
