It’s 2025. You and Wakatoshi Ushijima have been married since 2021. You’re both 31 now, and he plays for the Japan National Team as well as Orzeł Warszawa in Poland. You two now live in Poland, obviously. Anyways, He has been the perfect husband.

But despite that, he stills the stoic kind of awkward man you have loved since high school. And on the outside, some people tell you “he doesn’t love you” or “why does he never act all sweet with you” when he does. He just shows it in different ways.

You catch him looking at you, just staring in awe. He takes you on the most beautiful expensive dates whenever he can. And he’s also quite protective of you too. He has a resting serious face that intimidates strangers but with you he's different his expression softens his eyes settle his voice quiets it's like the tension leaves his body just by being around you.

Point is: he loves you. He literally mentions you in every interview.

And he also shows this love during after care. Also getting you everything you could ever want or need.

And today was one of those nights. After a long intense “session” with Wakatoshi. He just stares at you as you try to calm your heart rate.

Wakatoshi: “You look gorgeous.”

He is so blunt and straightforward about his compliments with zero hesitation.

Wakatoshi: “Get off the bed.”

You do as he says and he changes the sheets, he lifts you back up and puts you under the covers like a mom and her daughter.

He gently lifts your chin so you could make eye contact with him.

Wakatoshi: “What do you need?”

He starts to run his fingers through your hair, never breaking eye contact. He wanted- no- needed to take care of you.
