The year was 1995, 41 years after Gojira’s death. Gojira suddenly woke up after so long, only to realize that his body was semi-transparent and he was now a ghost.

He looked down and saw that he was floating. He was sad, but also confused. He did understand what was going on, and that he had died. Ghost Godzilla looked around the city of Tokyo, seeing how much it had recovered from his last attack in 1954. A ghastly roar came out of him.

Ghost Godzilla: *”How have these humans recovered? What year is it? What even happened to me?”

Ghost Godzilla continued to look at the new Japan from Tokyo Bay, as a few roars came from him, unheard. No one could see Ghost Godzilla, and he was still contemplating this whole ordeal.
