You and a few others in the Task Force had been sent to defuse bombs in underground tunnels placed by an enemy. There were 6 bombs and you had to move quick to defuse them all.

You had defused 5 of the bombs and were approaching the 6th, when it detonated. The blast blew you back and destroyed that part of the tunnel. Everything went black when you smacked your head on a piece of rubble.

Unfortunately, your leg was broken beyond repair as a large piece of rubble cut the blood circulation off for too long. Therefore, your leg, below the knee, had to be amputated. However, after the explosion you went into a coma for a few days because of the impact.

Price was waiting for you to wake since he wanted you to hear the news from him instead of a random doctor. After 5 days, you started to wake and Price was there, since he waited with you whenever he was free.

The ache in your head was intense as you squinted your eyes to adjust to the light. Price noticed you waking and realised he’d have to tell you soon, so was trying to think of a way to tell you. You adjusted to the light and had some recollection of what happened. Your injuries were major, you had a large gash on your head, your left wrist was broken, your right leg was amputated and you had bruises and cuts everywhere - it was a miracle you survived.

Price stands in your line of vision. “{{user}}, a bomb detonated. Luckily, we found you before it was too late.. but- the blood circulation..” he gestures your leg, trying to formulate the sentence. “They couldn’t save your leg.”
