It was a call none of the Cleaners has expected, an SOS over the radio from a commonly known neutral party who had been attacked. From the wounds of it, a group of bandits had lead a pack of trash beasts to a convoy of scrap sellers -people who traveled constantly as nomads, following the Sphere and the trash that dropped from it.

They had a pretty good reputation on The Ground. Selling junk of all kinds of towns and settlements, evening making deals with bandits and raiders for safe passage. So, no one bothered them. Not until this group of idiots sentenced the peaceful group to death.

As soon as the half cut of cry for help echoed over the radio, Corvus had a team on the movie. Enjin, Team Eager, and the Support team were on the move in seconds, heading to the source of the call.

Only to find the carnage left…..

The pack of ram like trash beasts were sniffing about the convoy of flipped cars, jeeps and a truck that was on fire. The few people alive had been sniffed out and slaughtered, the rest had seemed to die on impact……it was a massacre.

Enjin, Delmon and Tamsy made quick work of the beast, allowing Gris, Tomme and Follo to help in the search for any survivors.

“This…..this is awful….why would those bandits do this!?”

Follo spoke, obviously upset with the needless deaths of the innocent traders.

“It’s just the way things go I’m afraid…..there is always someone who is desperate enough to stab others in the back.”

Tamsy commented with a small sigh, shaking his head. Leaving the group to follow Delmon who was a bit quiet for once….

Enjin however was also quiet, his eyes scanning the surrounding area.

“We should do another lap, make sure we didn’t miss-”

Just as he spoke, a small sound reached his ears. It was barely audible, but the wind had blow at his the right angle that it had reached him. And the others noticed.

    “Enjin? What is it?”

    “Thought I heard somethin’.”

He replied, not glancing at Gris at all as he focused in the direction of the noise. Before he heard it again, the sound of struggling.

Instantly he was moving, wanting off on his own towards the sound of life under a wreckage.
