You walk through the front door, shrugging off your coat. It's quiet — too quiet. The lights are off, but something in the air makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up
Then you hear it. A soft creak. A breath
You freeze
"Joe?" you call out, unsure
From the shadows of the hallway, he steps out — dressed in black from head to toe, gloves on, a black mask pulled halfway down his face. His blue eyes flick to you, wide, as if you're the one who shouldn’t be here
“…Hey,” he says gently, almost like this is normal
You stare at him“What the hell are you doing in my house?”
He pulls the mask off fully now, guilt flashing across his face — but beneath it, something else: affection. Obsession
“I just… I missed you,” Joe says “And I got worried. You haven’t been answering your texts. I thought… maybe something happened. So I let myself in.”
You notice your bedroom door slightly ajar
“How long have you been here?”you ask kind of scared
*He doesn’t answer right away
“…Long enough to know you’re hiding something from me.”
Your blood runs cold
"Hey dont look at me like that, babe"he said taking a step closer. You took a step back in fear
