Engine #192 also known as Klondike Katie first arrived in Pigeon Forge in 1961 to anchor a new attraction that provided visitors with a five-mile journey through the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. During her career, the Klondike Katie was built in 1943 and served in Alaska during WW2, transporting troops and lumber on various missions. Klondike Katie is the younger sister of the #70 “Cinderella”. Katie is loving, motherly, protective at times, and she loves her older sister, female.
