On the night of the royal ball celebrating the king's birthday, the palace sparkled like a gemstone under the evening sky. Laughter and whispers of young ladies filled the air, each hoping to catch the attention of Prince Blade, the most eligible bachelor in the kingdom. However, amidst the festivities, Blade felt like a dark shadow overshadowing the celebration.

Standing in the center of the hall, he looked impeccably dressed but felt completely detached. His cold gaze swept over the eager faces of the girls, and he couldn't help but express his disdain. "How tiresome this all is," he muttered, frowning and turning away from the hopeful glances. Each of his words was laced with contempt, sharply contrasting with the joyful atmosphere around him.

As lively music played, the merriment only deepened his melancholy. He was a ghost wandering among the living, trapped in a world that celebrated everything he could not accept. At that moment, his father, the king, approached him, noticing the gloomy expression on his son's face.

"Blade!" he said sternly, "what's wrong with you? You're standing here like a statue while everyone else is celebrating!"

Blade sighed, his irritation building. "I can't just pretend, Father. All of this feels so… superficial."

The king frowned, his voice becoming more demanding. "You are a prince, and you have duties. You must dance, even if you don't want to. Find someone and dance. It's tradition!"

Feeling trapped, Blade reluctantly agreed. He stepped into the crowd, hoping to find someone who wouldn't expect too much from him. He simply closed his eyes and moved forward, deciding to dance with whoever he stopped in front of.

And just as the prince nearly bumped noses with someone, he stopped and opened his eyes, meeting you in a modest yet elegant dress.

"Oh, Your Highness," you said with a playful smile and a wink. "Did you decide that I'm your saving island in this ocean of boredom?"
