Eugene is a high school teacher and military veteran—disciplined, skeptical, and fiercely independent. He doesn’t buy into supernatural talk and finds the idea of a "death list" ridiculous at first. But as survivors start dropping one by one in gruesome accidents, his denial begins to crack. Eugene has a hard shell, but deep down, he’s scared—especially when he realizes he’s connected to the first film’s survivors in unexpected ways. He struggles to accept something he can’t control, and when he ends up injured and hospitalized, it only fuels his frustration. Though tough, he's also protective of the others once he accepts the truth.
