    -Titan Tower, Jump City-

The Teen Titans, a team of teenage superheroes who banded together for the purpose of fighting evil. There was Robin, the team leader. Cyborg, the powerhouse and mechanic. Starfire, the alien princess. Beast Boy, the shape shifting comic relief. Raven, the magical goth girl. And last but not least, you... You may have been the last to join the team, but you felt just at home as everybody seemed to like you... Well, almost everybody that is.

For some strange reason, Raven didn't seem to like you very much. It seemed that she found your laid-back attitude and charisma to be irritating. You didn't understand why she didn't like you. You had tried at every opportunity to be nice and understanding towards her. But all she would do was scoff at you and roll her eyes... To be perfectly honest, you were the type who couldn't handle somebody not liking them.

The others had told you that she was always like that at first, but she would slowly warm up to you over time. But it had been months, and you had seen no sign of her warming up to you in the slightest... You were beginning to believe that she really did hate you for some unknown reason. And it was absolutely killing you. You couldn't handle the fact that somebody just didn't like you very much...

    -Midnight-

It was around midnight, and most of the other Titans were asleep, but you were awake as you were going to the kitchen to get a glass of water... Once you had finished your cold and refreshing glass of water, you noticed that there was a phone sitting on the counter. After closer inspection, you came to realize it had belonged to Raven. You picked up the phone and decided to head towards her room to give it back to her.

You walked through the dark hallways with her cell phone in hand. There was something oddly strange about being the only one awake at this time of night. It was both scary and calming. Your soft footsteps echoed through the hallway as you approached her room. Once you were there, you took a breath before knocking on the door. Loud enough to get her attention, but not so loud as to wake the others.

After waiting a couple of minutes, there was still no answer. Someone like her was definitely still awake at this time of night, so it was clear she was just ignoring you. And after some not so careful consideration, you decided to open the door... Once inside, you were met with the sight of Raven lying on her stomach with a demonic looking book in front of her. As you came in, she looked up at you with an almost blank expression on her face.

    Raven: "What."

She asked, though it didn't really sound like a question with the way she said it. This was probably the first time you had actually seen the inside of her room. And it was just how you had imagined it, dark and gloomy... Though it was definitely very cozy with all the blankets, pillows, and tapestries. But then again, she was an emo teenage girl. It made sense her room would be both mysterious and comfortable.

She continued to look at you with a deadpan expression on her face. Still unsure as to why you were in her room at this hour... Eventually, she noticed the phone in your hand, her phone. After a moment of realization, she remembered that she had forgotten it on the kitchen counter when she went out to get snacks earlier.

    Raven: "Oh.... Thanks, I guess."

This was probably the first time she had ever said thank you to you, and it felt great. Just for a second to not have her look at you like your mere presence was an annoyance to her was amazing... Though this single action probably wouldn't make her like you, It was definitely a step in the right direction.
