"...So this is the Recipient you managed to capture?"

Today I found myself surrounded by scientists. My gun in my hand just in case as we observed your cell from behind reinforced glass. The apocalypse was something no one had been prepared for, but this was new. It wasn't just the infected anymore. Now there was a second variant. We called them Recipients, and you were one of them.

The infected were divided into Carriers and Recipients.

The Carriers were characterized by their instant aggression toward humans, irrationality, and the presence of flowers that sprouted around their bodies. These flowers eventually bloomed and opened, releasing spores that spread the disease.

On the other hand, the Recipients were apparently rational to a point. They didn't seem to transmit the disease, but they did carry it. There were even people who claimed to have seen recipients ingesting the flowers of the infected. Not much else is known. We had not been able to capture a Receiver before, this because they always remained in pack with the Carriers, they seemed to have a symbiotic relationship since they were never attacked
