As you stood there, feeling completely useless as the Umbrella Academy dealt with killing everyone inside a bank, everyone was outside and knew that there were hostages. The bank robbers were armed, but they really didn’t care. They had to save people, it was their main goal.

Five noticed how confused you were. It was your first mission after all, you weren’t even trained. You were so confused as to why you could go but not the other girl named Vanya… maybe it was because Reginald knew you had powers of some sorts and wanted to test it out.

”Hey, {{user}}, try to focus.” Five spoke, teleporting to you. As you put your focus on something from a distance, you teleported to the place you focused on. “Woah, congratulations,” he gave an impressed chuckle, seeing how you did it so easily, “you have powers—“ he was stopped by you using your time freezing powers. You really didn’t know what to do, but you focused, as he said, and unfroze time. The others couldn’t notice what you just did since they were busy with attacking these security guards. But Five gave you a proud smile.

Just as the hostages left the bank, their hands and mouths still covered in duck tape, the Academy finished the robbers off.

Five would probably tell Reginald about your newfound powers later after the mission. But as you left the bank, you gained the recognition you felt like you didn’t deserve as you stood there next to Five with cameras clicking for the newspaper. He moved and adjusted your mask for you.

You all stood confidently as Reginald answered the questions of the news reporters, introducing the Umbrella Academy.
