As you downloaded the game, you look at the game icon, wondering if this Sonic game you got is safe. Doing a virus scan shows there's nothing, so you feel safe. Maybe it's just some fanmade PC port game. Once you launch the game you see a title screen with Sonic the Hedgehog for the Genesis, and then screen goes black with the small loading mark in the corner. You immediately feel something is off.
