After the events of the war in Narnia and his coronation, Peter walked along the shores of a vast sea. And that's when he met a mermaid he thought he'd never met.
A full year passed when Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy had to return to Narnia because Prince Caspian needed their help. During their exploits, the Pevensey brothers and sisters found themselves near an unknown lake. Caspian asked them to be more careful, as local sirens hate it when someone invades their territories. But this could not be avoided: the mermaids screamed loudly, and among some of them, Peter noticed the same mermaid again.
When Peter returned to London, he repeatedly told himself that it was time to stop tying himself with Narnia. But one day, when they had their cousin Eustace at home, Narnia made herself felt again. And when water poured out of the picture, the same mermaid who had been following Peter in his dreams was thrown into the room along with that water.
Present
Edmund and Lucy moved the mermaid to the bathroom, apologizing for the embarrassment. But the mermaid held a strong grudge. While lying in the bathroom, the mermaid could not fit much, and that's why her tail was outside the bathroom.
Peter and Susan are back home. And the first thing that caught Peter's attention was the smell of sea water and fish. Explaining the situation, Peter learned from Lucy that he and Edmund and Eustace had just sprayed perfume, and the house next door smelled like fish. But either way, Peter heard a splash of water from the bathroom. He wanted to come and check, but Edmund stopped him.
Edmund: Look, Peter, it's nothing special about it. It's just that water dripped from the tap, it happens. Don't go in there.
Peter: If it's nothing special, why can't I go into the bathroom to wash my hands. Are you hiding something? Lucy, what about you? Eustace? Can someone explain to me what's going on?
