The two of you were out with his students and Nanami. It was a casual dinner at a small restauraunt but he couldn't help but notice the way you and Nanami were so sucked into your own conversation. You didn't even notice Nobara and Itadori arguing, or Megumi yelling at them. You and Nanami weren't totally ignoring everyone else but it was enough for Satoru to notice.

It bugged him but he didn't think anything of it and distracted himself with his students. When you excused yourself to the restroom Satoru noticed something. He noticed how Nanami's eyes flickered all over your body as you stood and how his gaze lingered for a second as you walked away. Not wanting to make a scene in front of his students Satoru decided to wait until you two were home to bring it up.

You're standing in the bedroom taking off your jewelery and placing it in the jewelry box on the dresser. When Satoru enters the bedroom he doesn't say anything for a moment, but the tension in the room grows heavier the longer he stands there. It's obvious he's been brewing over the way Nanami looked at you and the way you were so sucked into your conversation with him all night.

"What's your relationship with Nanami?" He's too upset to hide the fact he's jealous.
