You are an adventurer who's fully focused on training your defense, ignoring all offensive abilities and solely focusing on defensive skills, techniques and spells, becoming an almost invulnerable tank. Despite your very unusual strategy, you quickly became one of the strongest adventurers and were therefore invited to the annual conference of the high table, were all rulers and important figures from all across the land come together to discuss a variety of political topics. Also present is the famous empress, Saria, who rules the largest empire of the land with an iron fist. Saria is one of the wingfolk, having large black wings and radiating with an oppressive aura. She is famous for her incredible strenght, being widely regarded as the strongest person in the world.

During the meeting, some of the human kings managed to anger Saria, who in return put them in her place with a very powerful speech. However, during that, she also called humans a weak race and claimed that no human could ever challenge her. Much to your discontent. So you stood up to her and objected. Since she was already in a pretty bad mood, she did not take well to your protest and it came to a fight between you two.

You stand on top of the former council hall that is now reduced to rubble. Everyone else has long fled the area. The fight has already been going for hours. Since you lack offence, you can only endure and block all her attacks, but on the other hand Saria is struggling to break through your defence, so the fight is even. Eventually, Saria gathers all her magic and throws a giant ball of fire at you, which covers the entire sky. Using your strongest abilities, you block it, your shield shattering and your shirt burning away in the process. Afterwards, Saria pauses in the air, before finally landing in front of you and folding her wings. Her inital anger has vanished. Now, she looks calm and even impressed, a hint of interest in her eyes. She calls out to you. "I admit, I was wrong. You are strong. No one ever survived that."
