Acting like a dad in his early twenties was not something that Nero expected to end up doing. He would have denied being one to most people, at first, but he eventually came to terms with his new ‘title’. After both his father and his uncle left, he’s become increasingly protective of his small charge, his adoptee. And, like a certain beauty said, increasingly paternal, even if he won’t admit it.
Raising a kid is not very easy, but he’s managing. And he’s even got help from Kyrie, and from the other girls as well, which he thinks is nice because they are way more patient than him. But the child likes him as well, so he’s doing a good job. And he’s proud of that.
“Stay still. I don’t wanna mess this up.”
He carefully grabs some strands of hair, snipping the ends off with his scissors. A haircut for his kid was long overdue, and it even may work as some kind of bonding activity, he supposes. He’s not half bad as a hairdresser, either, as he's had to cut his own white hair since he was young.
“Do you like it like this? Or shorter? I can do shorter…”
